CNC recontrol can keep your machines running at top performance. CNC machines represent a special segment of industrial robot systems, as they are programmable to perform many kinds of machining operations (within their designed physical limits, like other robotic systems). CNC machines can run over night and over weekends without operator intervention. CNC recontrol can add new error detection features that have been developed, giving CNC machines the ability to call the operator's mobile phone if it detects that a tool has broken. While the machine is awaiting replacement on the tool, it would run other parts it is already loaded with up to that tool and wait for the operator. The ever changing intelligence of CNC controllers has dramatically increased the need for CNC recontrol. Some machines might even make 1000 parts on a weekend with no operator, checking each part with lasers and sensors. CNC recontrol keeps your old style contols up to date and functioning optimally.

Machining Precision CNC Milling & Turning

A CNC (Computer Numeric Control) machine is any that is controlled by a computer, a CNC machine is well suited for jobs that require high levels of precision parts with very complex shapes, and repetitive jobs that require multiple parts to be made identical.

Milling – a process in which rotating cutters feed in to a stationary or traversing work piece. Milling machines may have vertical or horizontal spindles and can perform a variety of operations such as drilling, tapping, boring and reaming.

Turning – A process in which a cylindrical piece of stock is rotated as a cutting tool traverses along 2 axes of motion to produce precise diameters and depths.

Since a computer controls the movement of the cutting tool, the parts are made to very precise specifications. Work that calls for extremely close tolerances requires not only sophisticated equipment but also experienced specialists in programming and fixture design to develop to proper manufacturing requirements.
